Gamestorming 2.0 2025 Brno
Gamestorming 2.0 in Brno was first one Czech located a hands-on facilitation event within the Facilitation Lab Brno at Masaryk University with Petr Pouchly, focused on trying out new games and techniques from the updated Gamestorming 2.0 book in real-life situations. Gamestorming is an international approach to visual and game-based facilitation of collaboration and innovation based on the book of the same name, and the Brno event was part of the Gamestorming 2.0 Labs series organized by Voltage Control, a studio specializing in facilitation and workshop design.
The Brno session was led by Petr Pouchlý, a Czech facilitator, innovator and consultant focused on game thinking, strategic workshops and team development in both business and the public sector; participants in a safe "practice playground" format alternated between facilitator and participant roles, tried out new games (e.g. Event Horizon, Hidden Variables, Squiggle Birds and Coffee Question) and received concrete feedback on their facilitation challenges and the design of their own workshops.
My key takeaways from the event:
🛠️ New point of view for service design methodologies within curated list. We went through 3 ways of working and practice, find the storyline behind and broaden our experince in doing that
✍️ Hands-on experience with other meet up participants. We practice design methods with thinking how can we use for specific cases
🚀 I experienced firsthand perfect facilitation of our tutor for Leadership Petr Pouchlý which was awesome
