Zlin Design Week is a place where creativity, innovation and tradition meet at the same time and in the same place, and where all participants can contribute to shaping the future of design in the city that is rightly called the city of innovation.
Zlin Design Week is an week-long annual festival focused on design, creativity and innovation, held in the city of Zlín, known for its rich industrial heritage and innovative spirit. The event brings together students from Tomas Bata University, professionals, designers and the general public from Czech and international audience to share new ideas, trends and approaches to design. The whole ZDW project was created at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín thanks to the interdisciplinary cooperation of design, marketing, photography, and audiovisual.
This year ZDW run 10th year anniversary and it was 3rd year with service design area of interest centre of industrial production and world shoe empire build and developed by Tomáš Baťa. I tried to describe highlights from this event and the city, hope I turn you to take part of it next year!
